The RISE of Makayla’s Place

Restoring Identities after sexual Exploitation (RISE) is a non-profit that provides a safe living environment to young girls who have experienced sex trafficking or commercial sexual exploitation. RISE provides a comprehensive program that helps young ladies escape the world of sex trade so they can rise above the situation to become strong and independent, responsible adults.

Help RISE build Makayla’s Place. An additional safe haven for women and young girls. The project aims to raise $50,000 to bring hope and healing to those in need, just like Makayla, who in 2018 came to RISE to escape the world of addiction and sex traffic. Makayla’s fight for restoration was a challenge, and last year Makayla left her struggles and this world. To honor her memory, and women like her, RISE is building an administrative facility where education, therapy, exercise and life skills are taught to empower more young women to overcome and become thriving survivors.
