This group runs as a children’s learning program that specializes in giving children a “global perspective.” The program connects young people and helps to inspire a desire for social and innovative change in their own lives and in the world around them. Both schools and churches can request a demo program to try out to see if they like it!
Dutch Addictions has all of your snack needs covered. Whether you want to make your own snacks with wholesome ingredients or buy premade snacks, this shop has something for everyone. Their most famous product has to be their peanut brittle! They also sell freeze-dried candy and garlic oil.
Freeze-dried candy is currently trending in the snack market, but so many of these are unhealthy. Luckily, Janna’s Freeze Dried Foods is here to help! They make the best freeze-dried health foods. These include everything from dried fruits that are perfect for baking and snacking to whole meals you can take to work or camping! The best part is that these foods do not need to be refrigerated. They also take up to 25 years to expire if the package has not been opened! (Of course, Janna also sells candy.)
We don’t usually showcase individual products here, but we couldn’t help but make an exception for the author, Lizbeth McCarty. In 2019, she published a children’s book, Allie Ate an Aligator. Currently, the book is available on Kindle and in paperback. She’s also written a number of other children’s books, including Eli Eats Eight Eggs Every Evening and Pirate’s Treasure: A Sunken Chest.

They start with raw cacao and make the entire finished product themselves. Sweet Temptations is a locally-owned sweet shop in Nicoma Park. They specialize in chocolates and “adult” treats that are infused with various kinds of alcohol. Outsides of chocolates, they also make bakery items, snack mixes, macaroons, fudge, and much much more! Stop by Nicoma Park to test the treats out for yourself or catch them at a local farmer’s market when they’re in season.
Rick’s Fine Chocolates & Coffees is famous for its fine chocolates above all else, which is probably why they put it in their name! Their chocolates are made by hand and in-shop on a regular basis, so you can be sure you are getting the freshest chocolate treats. Chocolates and coffees can be purchased individually, in boxes, or in gift baskets. They can also be ordered online and shipped or picked up in person. Outside of chocolates and coffees, they are also open as a cafe for breakfast and lunch.
Do you want to take a trip back in time to Oklahoma’s pioneer days? Going to the Loud Mountain Trading Co. might be the closest you can get to those far-off times. This shop, located in Cement, OK, is styled after an old-timey general store. Beware! This place is the perfect tourist trap. Take traveling family members here to pick up an Oklahoma-themed souvenir, or stop in to have a drink at their historic soda fountain.
